Celebrated my belated birthday recently with my beloved spouse John, our younger son Darren, DIL Yanti and our grand-daughter Dylea. We had an awesome gastronomical adventure at Thirty8 Restaurant & Lounge, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, a 5-star hotel. Much thanks to our son and DIL for the great feast. Such wonderful blessings! I praise and thank the Lord God Almighty for such loving, caring and thoughtful family members.
It was a Sunday Buffet Brunch with a marvellous spread of numerous variety of delicious food to satisfy everyone's palate. It was John and my first time at this exclusive restaurant, bar and lounge which offers a 360-degree stunning views of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the city.
A beautiful, spacious and comfy lounge to relax, live music to enjoy and a clown to entertain with his hand-crafted balloons of various shapes and forms.
Included are lively show kitchens/stations, with a battalion of chefs with ever-ready smiles and enthusiasm to cook your preferential food selections.. Their signature cakes exquisitely decorated and freshly baked pastries are superb, to say the least. Seafood such as scallops, oysters, mussels, lobsters, and prawns were plentiful. Sushi and sashimi, as well as others that are too many to name were served too.
So I just couldn't avoid snapping away in between savouring the delicious food from 12 noon till 3 pm. Let the photos below speak their thousand words!
Try guessing the price... a feast fit for a king! Ta-dah... the cost! Adult: RM190++ and Children: RM95++. I think it's value for money, at least go for it... once a lifetime gastronomic experience.
