Pilgrimage to Church of St Thomas More, Subang Jaya

November 10th was a public holiday in Malaysia as it was Deepavali or Diwali, a Festival of Lights celebrated by all Hindus.

Hence, my beloved spouse, John and I took this opportune time to make a half-day pilgrimage to the Church of St. Thomas More, a Catholic Church in Subang Jaya with 5 other retirees in our golden years.

All of us were very keen to visit the Church as we heard that miracles are happening there, especially at the grotto within the Church's compound where the statue of Our Lady of Fatima (Virgin Mary) is placed.

We can't thank George Yeow and his loving spouse, Rose See enough for their generosity and kindness in fetching us there. It was our first visit to the lovely Church and we were truly impressed.

Many thanks to one of parishioners who was kind enough to show us photos and videos on his handphone of the statue of Our Lady, mother of Jesus, depicting the seemingly alive movements of the statue where it had grown taller, the Virgin Mary smiling, crying and looking at various directions (up, down, left and right) at different times/days. We were truly awed and amazed by what we saw.

He told us that miracles of healing have taken place upon parishioners and visitors to the grotto where holy water were available for washing as a sign of repentance and for drinking.

The Parish Priest, Fr. Raymond Pereira was very kind and most accommodating, giving his precious time to anoint the sick among us, including John who is having lumbar spondylosis and vertigo, Steven having leg pains and yours truly having 4th stage colon cancer, in front of the image of Divine Mercy. May our ever-gracious and merciful God, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary heal us all and bless Fr. Raymond for his wondrous and marvellous works.
