Father's Day on June 15 2008 @ Michaelangelo, The Pavilion KL

John and I had a wonderful whole day, celebrating Father's Day with our younger son, Darren and his family! Leisurely strolled along the Golden Triangle area at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, popped in and out of the mega shopping malls of Lot 10, Star Hill and Pavilion, then watched an entertaining and action-packed movie 'The Incredible Hulk' and ended the night with dinner at KFC (hehe...paid for with free vouchers).

Luncheon treat by Darren was at Michaelangelo's restaurant-deli-bar, an interesting contemporary Italian dining at Pavilion KL. Cosy, with an exquisite charm and decor, dominated by posters of Michaelangelo all over over in delightful contrast with the white chairs.

Though we thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful bonding time with Darren and his family, a little sadness prevailed over me as I felt David and his family's absence due to their twin's bout of bad flu. Well, we just have to accept that things cannot always be as we wish. However, I always try to think positively, fully aware that there will definitely always be small and big joys ahead, planned for us by our Heavenly Father, who loves and desires to bless us, His children, unconditionally and abundantly.
