Dinner at China Treasures, Sime Darby Convention Centre

Our family had dined at China Treasures many times over many years, with the recent visit in September and October this year.

A great halal restaurant that are visited by diners of various races!

Opportunity came when there was an offer on Groupon with a 50% discount. Real value for money, paying RM60 instead of RM120.

Of course, we grab the chance of eat smart! ;-)

We celebrated our younger son's birthday there in September. Menu was extensive and we chose what he loved most.

Fresh water prawns in special sauce, deep lemongrass skewered seafood roll,
stir-fried venison in szechuan style, baked fish fillet with salted egg yolk,
szechuan tot and sour crabmeat soup.

Creamy butter tiger prawns, roasted chicken 'pi pa' style,
aromic duck with plum sauce, stir-fried Hong Kong mini kailan
with ginger and garlic sauce, stir-fried squid with dried chilli and
cashew nuts, braised Japanese bean curd with oyster sauce.

A few days ago in October, we journeyed to China Treasures again. This time is our elder son's birthday.

We had a sumptuous dinner with varied dishes to tantalize our taste buds. Sharing below the fantastic dishes and desserts....

Creamy butter tiger prawns, chilled golden sea whelk and jellyfish,
deep fried silver bait fish with lycium berries, stir-fried squid with
black pepper sauce, Chinese pancake.
