It was my first time at Delicious, located along Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, opposite the American Embassy.
Wow...my beloved John and I were really impressed by the chic decor of this HALAL restaurant with a white theme that exudes a soothing atmosphere of peace and tranquility! A splendid sight of white willow branches with dangling white birdcage lamps, seemingly hung from them and strategically positioned at its best. And, the numerous glass walls enclosing the dining space, not only provide a picturesque scene of nature outside, but also allow bright natural light to penetrate through to enhance the brightness inside. Lovely ambiance, indeed!
A big thank you to David (our elder son) and his spouse, Kellie who treated me and his dad to a lovely lunch at this upper-end restaurant, to celebrate Mother's Day!
It was lovely meeting-up with them and lunching together with their identical twin daughters, Renice and Renee (gosh, they're getting to be so alike that it's really difficult to distinguish at times!) and May, Kellie's cousin who's the twins' favourite aunt. Naturally, the absence of Darren (our younger son) and his family who were away in Penang, were sorely felt...being Mother's Day, which mum wouldn't missed her children!
Our orders were the following:
Grilled Balsamic Mushrooms on toasted multigrain and fresh greens (RM22.90++)
Seafood Linguine tossed in homemade sundried tomato pesto (RM28.90)
Antipasti Platter with roasted garlic, tunisan eggplant, mushroom confit,
pate, balsamic tomatoes, grilled seafood with roasted capsicum and
asparagus (RM29.90++) - lovely except the pate (made of duck or goose liver?)
which we didn't liked at all...yuck!!

Trio of Dips with homemade Lebanese bread (RM14.90++)

and lemongrass jelatah (RM24.90++)

New York Striploin, comprising of char grilled 500gm New York Strip
served with a beef sauce, corn on the cobb and baked potato (RM89.90++)
- Gosh, such a breathtaking price tag, but ain't worth at all!
The meat was supposed to be well-done but more as medium-rare in the center,
bland, without any distinctive flavour so much so we had to scoop
the left-over dipping sauces from other dishes to enhance it.

Nevertheless, the food on the whole was delicious as it's name portray, we did enjoy the wonderful spread though prices are a little on the high-end! Total bill amounted to RM268.
We're not deterred. Having sampled some of the tasty dishes above, we may want to return for a second visit as the menu is truly extensive, you're spoilt for choices. I observed that some of the dishes are reasonably priced too as compared with similar-standard food haven, so why not be adventurous and try out new food next time around! Hmm...we haven't tried their desserts and I've read bloggers raving about them!
Delicious is opened from morning to dusk, serving culinary delights with a fusion cuisine of West meets East, for breakfasts to lunches, through afternoon teas to dinners. Check out their elaborate menu at the Delicious Group website.

Having enjoyed the tasty and delightful food, we decided to take the staircase down to its ground floor, curious to see what was at its store, known as Delicious Ingredients. A lovely wall panel of live greens (as seen in the topmost photo collage) greeted us as we walked down and we were definitely amazed too with those presented below. Such a fantastic range of exclusive products to feast your eyes on...heavenly and the prices...breathtaking, not for the faint-hearted though! Hehe, my jaw dropped repeatedly when glimpsed over some of the price tags! Naturally, exclusive items demand such considerable expense, right?
looks yummy no go there before.
